libglobus-io3 software package provides Globus Toolkit - uniform I/O interface, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libglobus-io3
libglobus-io3 is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libglobus-io3 package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libglobus-io3 *
You will get with libglobus-io3 package name, version, architecture and description in a table
